Are you done with Webflow’s unreliable hosting aswell?
I think we should give them another chance. Because Webflow IS good if we keep it as a design tool. WordPress is a bad design tool, but if we combine them together, they are both in their power and you can achieve much better loading times and reliability.
I’ll explain how you can achieve this in this guide. This is just a starting guide, if i see that this will get traction, i will create more content about this workflow so do let me know if you run into any issues!
Preparation
Before you can start, a few steps have to be taken. Please follow them carefully so you can complete your first transfer with succes.
1. Create a Udesly account
Go to this link to create a free Udesly account. You will need this account to convert your Webflow site.
2. Add the Udesly Chrome Extension to your browser
Get the Udesly chrome Extension trough this link. This needs to be added to your chrome (based) browser. To make sure it works at all times, use Google Chrome. (sometimes you get a white screen when using it on your Arc)
3. Get a quality server
To reap the benefits of this approach, you need a quality server. Regular servers like TransIP, Godaddy, Vimexx are not good enough. My advice is to get a custom VPS at Kinsta if you dont have technical knowledge. If you have technical knowledge and you know how to deal with Plesk, get one at CHB.
